Teak Knife

Description

Knife crafted 100% handmade with a mixed forging and grinding technique. Teak wood is very suitable for this type of piece, mainly due to its dimensional stability, which makes it less susceptible to factors such as humidity and temperature. This prevents significant misalignment in the short term between the steel and the wood, while also providing a warm feeling when gripped.

Product Features:

  • Approximately 21 cm knife, 12 cm x 4 cm blade, 9 cm long handle, 3 cm wide, and 1.5 cm thick.
  • SAE5160 steel, bronze rivets, 158 grams total weight.

Materials:

The handles are made of teak wood, a material that, due to its physical-mechanical properties, is highly suitable for this type of piece. Its dimensional stability makes it resistant to environmental factors like humidity and temperature, preventing misalignment between the steel and the wood over time, and providing a warm sensation when held.

The handles are secured with high-quality epoxy glue and mechanically fastened with bronze rivets, finished with tung oil to seal the wood, accentuate its grain, and give a matte finish.
